Has anyone here installed this kit? I know this is not as extensive as a L67 swap, and overall seems a bit expensive, but it also seems like a well-engineered kit for something that can be done in an afternoon.
The only reason I would consider this is because I wont be racing the car and I don't need balls-out power mods. I've gotten responses on other boards that say do the turbo instead, but as silly as it might sound, I'm not nuts about the noise a turbo makes. On the other hand, the whine of a blower is something I've heard but never owned...so it has some appeal on that level.
For a bolt-on kit that will easily deliver another 60hp vs a complete top end swap with all the pulleys, brackets and balancer, it feels viable, even if it is a bit pricey. I guess I've got certain limits to what I'm willing to tackle in the garage, and pulling cylinder heads on an engine still in the car is not my first choice.
