Could've had it from Intense or ZZP in 2 days for $13 total.

Isn't the S/C oil just 30 weight synthetic?

Supercharger oil is FAR from synthetic, and some people have burned up their bearings using the wrong crap.

Supercharger oil is primarily organic, not synthetic, and it contains animal fats.

i couldve sworn the owners manual said it was some special 30 weight synth blend. but thank you to those knowing far more than I.

yes, 5w-30 synthetic motor oil has similar qualities to the gm oil. Gm dealers use motor oil as substitute, stated in their bulletin when supercharger oil isn't present.

And we've seen some ugly failures due to burnt up bearings when synthetic motor oil was used.

S/C oil looks, smells and feels nothing like 30W motor oil. I can only imagine what the much thinner 30W would or would not do to the bearings and gears inside the nosedrive.
