.....Part # 917022.

Cheapest place to get it is @ http://www.autopartsexpress.com where the base price is higher than Rock Auto, but since ape has free S/H it's cheaper over all than Rock Auto by ~$1 -question is are they as fast as Rock Auto with the processing orders and getting them to your door?

Which, for those who don't want to look @ the links, is a S/C Coupler. Question is: Is it better, worse or about the same as stock? I may still go with one of the aftermarket brands if theirs are supposedly better.

Dorman specializes in OEM parts. It's probably NOT superior to any of the performance alternatives already out there.

Anyone tried to buy one locally at a parts store providing them with the Dorman part number?

After checking Advance, NAPA and AZ's websites, none have it registered. Probably new enough that they haven't gotten ahold of them yet, or started stocking them.

I'll be using one of these for my GEN V that's I'm undecided which car to put it on, but it will get a little review when I order one and compare to stock and a green one (will be ordering a snout rebuild kit from Rolling Performance as I need to rebuild the snout due to it being in a fire and I feel it'd be best to redo the snout seal and since I'm doing that I may as replace the bearings and coupler at the same time).
