Year and Trim: 1998 sse
Hello all. I am upgrading the front seats in my 98 sse bonney to the AL7 seats from a 97 ssei bonney. I bought the 97 wrecked for a donor car for the supercharged engine and decided to keep the seats as well. I saved all the wiring harness under the seats. Now that I have the seats reupholstered and ready to go in, I have 3 extra wires that I cant figure where they go. All 3 are 18 or 20 gauge. one is orange and one is black and one is gray. All solid color with no discernible markings. The orange and black went to the drivers side main harness where I cut them off. The gray came from the center console controls and ran by itself up thru the console. With the seats plugged in nothing works. I figure the orange and black went to the fuse box powered by an ignition on fuse. Any ideas what the gray wire does? I already got rid of the 97 so I cant tear into it to find out. Any info appreciated. Thanks

Could you figure it out via continuity?

I when I wired in upgraded seats in another car I was able to narrow it down that way.

I couldn't find the schematics for a 97 AL7 but I did find them for a 98 model year, maybe this will help. I'd wager they are very similar:
