Hey all, having an interm. issue when opening my rear doors. Occasionally when opening the r. rear door, the interior dome lamp will not illuminate. Then if I try the other side rear door, the light WILL come on and vice versa. I checked for a possible faulty or sticking door jam switch, looking for the 'classic' style plunger type switch, but none was found. How do the dome lamps illuminate if no switch seems to be present?.
(Never have had this issue with the front doors).

So opening of the door will not turn on ANY of the interior lamps, or just the one above that door?

The latch on the door is connected to the door module, which knows its position, and therefore whether the door is open.

No interior lights, dome lights will come on. Again, this seems to be intermittant for some reason, and only with the rear doors...so I may have a module problem.

Do your windows work?
