My cars fog lights are staying on all the time car on car off . At the same time my remote will not lock or do anything. Any help will be helpful . 98 ssei

Is your other exterior lights on? Make sure your twilight sentinal is not set to max and also make sure your headlight switch is not fully pulled out.

also check headlight switch AND wiring for any melted areas or loose connections etc..

the 92-99s LOVED burning headlights switches :btruestory:

Wake, only 95 had that switch problem. 92-94 don't, and neither do 96-99. In addition, the fog circuit is pretty independent. For them to be staying on with the ignition off, your parking lights would have to be left on, the switch could be bad (but not likely melted), or a short in the fog relay circuit.
