 Post subject: Radio not working.

Year and Trim: 1994 SE Bonneville
I just got my car back running after it quit on me about 3 days ago. What inded up fixing it was cleaning the grounding blocks on ether side of the door but now my radio don't work and it is an after market radio and it was working when it quit running about 3 days ago and I have checked the volts on the radio and it is shows 13.6 Volts and I just can not figer it out and help is welcome.

Year and Trim: 2 wheels and 2 pedals... much cheaper that way...
if its an after market, does it have a fuse on the back of the radio... also make sure you have power coming from your switched power supply..

All the fuses are good and it has power coming from the switch power and i just can not figer out where the problem is at.

Test for ground. Touch your probe to the ground wire of the radio and the outside metal of the cigarette lighter. If there is constant power, ignition power and ground at the cars wiring harness, test all 3 again at the plug that goes into the aftermarket deck. If everything is good, remove the fuse on the back of the radio see if its blown and put it back in if its not. If all these are working then its your deck thats the problem.
