I have a 2000 bonneville. My keyless entry just recently stopped working. I replaced the battery but that didn't work. I was wondering how hard it would be to program a new one say if I bought one off eBay. Let me know thanks!

You need to go to a dealer for that, or find someone with a Tech II programmer (not likely).

When you replaced the battery, did you hold LOCK and UNLOCK both at the same time for 10 seconds?

I had to do that every week or two on my '97 Olds LSS to re-sync the remote to car.

I actually took the remote apart and im pretty sure the one metal piece isn't touching the other and I would assume they would need soldered together to work.

Definitely pics. Don't attempt to solder anything till we can get a look at it.
