Hi All

I was just wondering how hard would it be to install heated seats in my 92 SSEi. I can prob find a seat at the junk yard with it already in it and the wires and switch i need, but if I couldnt what would be involved with installing it and would it even be worth the work?

I've done it to 2 of my cars. It's not actually that hard if you use an aftermarket kit (about $100 per seat). You just need to pull back the covering on the seat, lay down the elements, put the covers back on, then wire up the switch and power per the instructions. It's easier if you remove the seats, but not required.

would i just be better off buying the after market kit and if so where could i find it? I know PFYC has some but i dont know if they would work in mine i know they listed for newer GP's.

I used the ones from PFYC. They are generic install and seem to work good. The only real "modification" that is needed to install them is drill a small hole somewhere near the seat to put the switches at. I installed them on the plastic lining the bottom of the seat.
