I asked the guy about it, & he said that they found it in the back without a box or nothing. Then he goes... give me $50 for it.
so now I want it to hang it in my garage. what should be the price of this grill? its got no scratches or nothing.

You probably won't be able to get $50 for it, LOL!

You are probably right. But funny how we see stuff like that & get all exited like if it was the NOS grill of a GTO.
I still think I might buy it. & who knows maby in 30 years someone might give me a gazillion dollars for it. :booty:

Ironic that the one you found won't fit either of your cars.

Maybe you need to leave it there for several more years for it's value to go up.
True Story: When I decided to put a set of Hurst Lightning Rod shifters in my 87 Grand National, I determined that only the ones made for GM for the Hurst Olds were 4 speed units...all others were 3 speed units. So I was on a quest for a set of 4 speed units. I called all over and nobody had any, even through GM they were discontinued. I also discovered that is I did find a set, I should expect to pay $1,000 or more since the 4 speed units were in such short supply. I kept calling around anyways. Low and behold, I get a local junkyard that had a set he said was hanging on his wall, new pull-out from an 84 Olds. The yard traded some parts for the shifters when the dealer replaced them under warranty (owner drove tha car home and immediately back to the dealer claiming the shifters were defective.) After replacing them, they found the owner was clueless and didn't know how to operate the shifter. Since the unit came out of the car, it was used and couldn't be sold as new...so they sat at the dealer on the shelf. Then one day the dealer needed parts that were discontunied and bartered the shifter set for the parts, and it hung on the wall of the junkyard just looking good. 11 years later, I call asking for a set, and the junkyard decides to sell them to me. 1 set of 4 speed lightning rods as new as new can get for being 11 years old (less than 10 miles of driving in the car) and I get them for $300. SOLD!! Still in my 87 Grand National to this day.
Yup, the longer that part hangs on the wall, the rarer it will get, and it might still be a good deal in 11 years.

I think it would look cool mounted on the wall as long as you complimented it with something that I can't think of right now

Mount it on a piece of solid cherry with a hand rubbed piano finish.
