This was a repost from 2005. That being said, do not buy on eBay from "k2motor" or "cosmodynamic" (which are the same company). Need convincing? Just type "k2motor" into: http://www.toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs and see how many negatives this seller gets DAILY.

A couple people got them from "kazespeed", but frankly, their eBay history if you type them into my link above, looks as bad or possibly worse than the previous two.

I bought from sora48, but that was in 2005 and they don't appear to be as active as other sellers. You could message them on eBay and see if they can get the clears for you, or you can find them from any seller that has good feedback if you run them through toolhaus.

When I had my '93, I cleared them myself with only a few household tools, no dremel. Wasn't there a write-up for these on how to clear them rather than buying them?

There was a write-up on it....but if I remember some people preferred to buy the cleared ones rather than mod the originals due to a better look (reflector inside) , but in a pinch I guess you could do your own. We don`t have all the write-ups from our old site yet so I`m looking for old/new info???!! Anyone can chime in with the bulb numbers if you have cleared corners.....anybody???? I don`t want ugly amber bulbs messing up my new clears! :)

I prefer the reflector look with the clear replacement, vs clearing an amber.

For the cornering lamps, I use the amber version of the bulb. It's identical to the factory bulb, other than being amber. You can get them at ANY auto parts store.

For the amber light *bulb* closest to the hood grille, people take the bulb out, and give it a very gentle light spray with silver paint. This makes the reflection of that bulb in its lens appear silver/clear instead of amber, but the bulb's output is able to power through the light misting of silver paint and still light up amber, if you absolutely MUST have a non-amber reflection when looking at your car head-on. I personally don't care about the amber reflection, so I left the bulbs as they are.

So the only bulb change I made was using an amber bulb in the new clear corners, so the turn signal still lights up amber.

Yea but one thing you might notice is that out of all the 765 negative and neutrals not a single one was clear corners for any Bonneville. :dontknow: maybe thats a good thing for ppl still wanting clears off of ebay and cant find any other company

Hey, who remembers my 7-page, 4-month thread about K2motor/cosmodynamic toying with me and screwing me over twice in a row? :)

Never buy from cosmodynamic, the ebay seller alias of k2motor.com. Their customer service is tragic. Enjoy:

If you find clear corners from anyone else, but especially from kazespeed, go for it!
