I thought my car wouldn't look right with a painted grill, but I wanted to do something to it...

So, at work one night I did this (what do you all think? I like it.):

What is that off of? The front fenders of a 97-03 GP? I might have to steal that idea and try it to see how it looks on my 98

Yeah, they come from that era of GP's. I'm pretty sure they were just on the SE's that got a 3800 motor. I'm probably wrong though!

The GM part number for the emblem is 10255669. They're pretty cheap. The only problem is they just are stick on, double-sided tape badges. You'll have to come up with a way to help get the emblem to stay in place. If you look at the first pic closely you can probably see what I did.

Thanks for the comments too.

Well I guess I'm in the minority here. I'm not a big emblem fan. I think it looked cleaner without. :dontknow:

Just kidding. That was more of the response I thought I'd get all along anyways. I guess I have a thing for badges.

I hate the V6 part, because it is soooo much more than a standard V6. I would like it better just 3800.

I know it's a V6, but it isn't your average V6, IDK, i like 3800 better alone

If you just left the 3800 by itself, I think that location it would be too small - IMO. Plus, all the mods I do, I try to keep within the range of something the factory would do.

Thanks Justin.

I got it on gmpartsdirect.com. The GM part number for the emblem is 10255669. They're pretty cheap too.
