Got a bunch of GXP suspension parts that I'm cleaning up. I want to paint them to protect them from rust and whatnot. Anyone know a good selection of paint is? Also should I do them in red cause I want them to pop

Won't crack with the flexing of the springs?

you would want a rubberized paint for springs - rocker panel paint but only see it in black

Plastidip for springs, sway bars, and there's plenty of colors there to choose from.

Don't paint it red. They're not performance aftermarket parts. They're stock suspension parts. They're not supposed to stand out...

the reason im thinking of painting them red is just for aesthetics. i know they arent aftermarket performace (not like theres much) just looking to make it a bi different

i also forgot about plastidip.... such a wonderful thing

Red suspension is going to stick out like a sore thumb. Repaint it black if you must, but it's supposed to be used and not seen....

well they definately needed a repaint anyways. ive already done the shock tower bar red. so far just everything else black as a base coat for rust resistance and rust cleaning
