White paint & liquid glass. FTW

I don’t know what happened to the original post – it’s gone – but a couple of you were whining because I didn’t post any pictures. :poke:
Here you go. I really like the way the paint feels after an application of liquid glass.

Looks really good from here, but sure doesn't look white. Looks sorta like maybe a very light gray or cream. - BC

’Tis Olympic White. Color is a bit off because I was too lazy to pull it out into the sunlight and take the picture. Interestingly, with Liquid Glass you’re supposed to expose it to sunlight – UV light apparently helps it “cure”. This is the only "wax" (as a generic term, there's no wax in this stuff) I've ever used on the truck. If it weren't for a nick, scratch, or chip here & there the 11 year old paint looks as good as anything on the car lot.

That spot between the gas cap and fender flare is resident on my phone's camera, BTW. It's on every picture it takes now.

That’s coming. Right now I’m having too much fun driving it.

Yes, yes you were. I wonder what happened to that post? It just disappeared.

That looks fantastic! I used Liquid Glass on my LeSabre for years, and I was always impressed with the results. I might try that for the G8 (since it's white) before I put it away.

As for the missing post. I noticed an error Sunday afternoon when I tried accessing the board. Once it came back, all posts from the weekend were gone. My guess, something got corrupted, and the board was reloaded from a backup. Just my opinion - not sure if that's the case.
