Are the SLE/SSEi/GXP sun visors similar to the sun visors on the '92 SSE/SSEi (dual sun visors - a small and large visor on both the driver and passenger side)? Thanks - BC

EDIT: ( 7/3/14 I located sun visor from a '02 Buick LeSabres has a two piece sun visor similar to the ones in the '92 SSE/SSEi Bonnevilles)

EDIT: is there a bracket behind the headliner of my '05 SE to fasten both ends of this sun visor? I know the bracket on the right hand side of this photo is this used by the current sun visor in my '05 SE.

Any Aurora or Lesabre Sun Visor will install exactly like the Bonneville Sun visor

I actually had Lesabre ones in the Bonneville (and now Ryan has them) and Installed the Aurora visors currently.

If you cant locate any visors I know I can get you some from my local Junk Yard

Thank you. The offer is much appreciated. My concern is the sun visors I currently have are single visors and are only attached at the roof column side of the headliner. The sun visors I would like require attachment at both ends of the sun visor. The question is, is the bracket behind the headliner to attach both ends of the double/dual sun visors from the SLE/GXP/Aurora? I just might take you up on the offer of the sun visors if the bracket is there. Thanks - BC

I am confused.

your 05 SE should have the same visors as all 00+ Bonnevilles.

Can you take a picture of the sunvisors in your car?

The SE has single sun visors on each side of the inside rear view mirror. The GXP and probably the SLE have dual sun visors on each side. With the duals one visor, the one on top, only folds down to the windshield while the one on bottom can be un-clipped and swung around to the side window. The '92 SSE has two on each side and the SE only has one on each side. It can be un-clipped and swung around to the side window leaving no visor to cover the front windshield. That can be a problem if you're driving and your position to the sun keeps changing so that you need to keep moving the visor. If you have the the dual visors, you can fold the top one down to the windshield and swing the bottom one to the side window. If you have one of those sun shields, it also makes it easier to get them to stay up on the windshield too. - BC

I know what you're saying. The second piece attaches to the hinge and catch similar to what your SE has, just has slots for the second visor to fit into.

yes. The top visor can only fold down, while the bottom visor can be un-clipped and swung around to the side window. I guess I may have given too much information, maybe. My 05 SE only has the visor that can be unclipped and swung around to the side window. The ebay link shows a pic of the dual visor. http://www.ebay.com/itm/02-LESABRE-SUN- ... 91&vxp=mtr - BC

AHHHH gotcha. you want the plastic part. I sent you a PM with some other info. The Aurora and Lesabre also have a third part that extends out when the visor is swung towards the drivers or Passengers window seen here:

guess I need to take a photo of both sun visors to illustrate what I'm trying to say. I need to go out into the garage and root around to find the visors I'm talking about. Hope they are handy. - BC

My GXP only has the single visor with no extension or anything. So you're saying if I rummage junkyards I should be able to find a dual visor out of another Bonneville? My 1994 S10 Blazer of all vehicles has the dual visor with extension. Man that's a nice feature...

I just figured that since Pontiac sometimes has features that the other GM lines don't, Pontiac would be the one with both, dual visors and extensions. I figured wrong. - BC
