so... i was wondering will the pre 96 grilles bolt up w/ no mods to say my 98. I kind of like the look of them better and I cant paint like crazy so I think this would be a fun weekend mod project deal if it would fit.

No it wont fit. If your car is a 98, your choice is from 96 to 99.

They'll mount to the hood, but the headlights a little different shape and the hood-to-bumper distance changed some. It would take some cutting/fiberglass to make it flow, I think.

*dang*! oh well. thx for answering and saving me a futile trip to the wreckers. I kinda though the headlights were different but I had nothing to compare to so... yea. thx again.

actually there have been many cars that i have seen over the years with the older grille, It will fit but dosent look perfect

But you can tell it wasn't original, which is why it would need a little work to "flow".
