Lately I've been searching Ebay to see if I could find good suitable replacements for fog/driving lamps. Then I remembered something after looking at the assembly when I took it off the bumper...I said to myself "*dang*, that looks a lot like what the Neons used".

Sure 'nuff....

Even if it isn't a straight bolt-in it's pretty frickin' close. This opens up some options...ready-made projector lamps, LED daytime lamps, or glass conventional lamps. May be a little bit smaller, won't know for sure until I hit up the local junkyard to see if any Neons have a set I can mock up.

That's pretty awesome! I'd love to get something more powerful in my fog light positions, cause I love running with the fogs and corner markers on. Looks awesome with my switchbacks, but there's not much power output to speak of.

If you can make an Angel Eye and Projector fog/driving light for a 2000 SSEi, I would gladly pay you big time for it. I have no clue where to start if I were to make my own.

I tried one set of projectors for the '01. I had assumed the foglight holes were pass-thru like the '92-'99 are. But I would have had to cut so much out I'd Have nothing to mount to. So I ended up putting them on the '93 since the Hella Angel Eyes on that had gone out. Been looking for a replacement that would fill the hole, I hate the 1/2" to 3/4" gap around aftermarket foglights.

I'll have to look into these as well.

Ya, something like that. lol. I have no clue how to even make something like that, let alone know what to buy and how to wire it up.
