Quick, another post. figured it'd be easier to to 2 than 1 long one.

So I've gotten all the necessary maintenance work done on the car, figured I'd start looking into some exterior/ lighting stuff.

just recently decided Im going to forgo the HIDs for the fog lights, instead use that money to help fund a good set of HIR headlights (any recs for those?). instead I will likely be purchasing a set of the Nokya Hyper Yellow 2500K bulbs (http://bit.ly/MWqQVb) for the time being, unless you guys can sway me otherwise. which is my next question, how difficult/easy is it to change/ remove the fog light on a '02 SE?

every car Ive owned, I always wanted to tint the taillights and maybe the headlights. I definitely would prefer using vinyls and not the VHT Spray. so I stopped by a shop today in town, and the guy told me that it would cost $120 a set for either heads or tails, and that it would be an additional $30 to do the center tail on my car. forget that.

so I came across these pre-cuts with a company Rvinyl. my friend used them on his 4G Eclipse and they looked good. Headlights (http://bit.ly/RS5Dvb) and taillights (http://bit.ly/NkQJsC) are only $30 each.

I kinda wondered, if it's possible to sand and paint that vinyl to match the body color for the center piece. and just leave the actual taillights. if I paint that vinyl, would it be able to be peeled off later down the road if I wanted? if not and I had to actually paint the lense, Id likely just try to sell it on here for maybe $15 if anybody wanted it. or possibly use it to tint the corner lenses in the headlights (which I would also like to get the housings body color matched also).

if none of that works out, I'll just buy bulk film, do the taillights and headlights (lenses). and possibly use this stuff to cover the center taillight piece (http://bit.ly/bIKqrK). but Im not sure whether the light or dark pewter may look better with the Light Bronzemist Metallic. the dark looks too dark (http://bit.ly/NEkoPn) and the light looks too light (http://bit.ly/L4WsCJ)

Good choice staying away from plug and pray hids.
For the HIR's http://www.hirheadlights.com
The nokyas look good. Ive heard lots of good about them too.

But yellow fogs plus Hir highs and lows will be a drastic improvement in your exterior lighting. Especially if you add a relay harness to get battery voltage.

As far as Vinyl Vs Spray.
I have personally had better experience with spray.
I had a hard time getting the vinyl to conform , even with a heat gun.
The spray looks better with a quick wetsand and some clear , but its really not that hard , and IMO looks better than a vinyl.

Cant comment on the company you posted.

Make sure you post pictures of whatever you decide to do.

Go ahead and get those yellow Nokya bulbs. Yellow fogs actually make a difference in bad weather. I never believed it before I had tinted my fog lights. Also, Nokya makes good quality bulbs. I'm running some in my low beams.

You should be able to peel the vinyl off down the road, although I'm skeptical as to whether the paint will stick to it.
