The SLE badges on my '01 are badly corroded



Looks like water seeped into the badge and turned the metal inside an ugly green. So much that its hard to read "Bonneville."
And on top of that, I feel like the style of lettering brings the car back into the 90's and reminds me of Bonnevilles from that generation(not that there's anything wrong with them). So I'd like to replace them with 03 badges. Found them on GMPD but they only have black. I'd prefer chrome and then have the option to attach a vinyl overlay, instead of being stuck with black. Anyone know of another place from which I could procure a fresh set? Searched the topic, found a few posts but you can only go back so many pages before the topics turn ancient and dusty Tried ebay also, found nothing.

Pretty sure all OEM SLE badges were Chrome. Not sure where black badges would even come from...

Ooops my mistake, it says SLE back, not black. Still not sure what that means, it's under front door, exterior trim, nameplate. What does back mean? They have SSEi badges for '01, two versions. One says black back, the other silver back. If you search for '03 badges, it says SLE Bonneville back. But no mention of color. So I assume its all chrome?

Might help if there were better descriptions or pictures.
