I was looking through the steps to tint my tails and 2 steps don't make sense so I am hoping someone can clarify for me. I DO plan on adding the satin clear coat for a shiny appearance. Here is my dilemma...

The instructions state...
spray one light coat on each part and let dry at least 5 minutes and repeat....(so that's 3-4 coats)...wet sand between coats with 1000 grit sandpaper (going to use 1500). My question is this...do I wet sand between the coats of tint and between the coats of sealer coat or do I apply the 3-4 coats of tint...sand...then add clear/satin sealer coat?

If you want a shiny appearance, use gloss not satin.

You can wetsand between each coat of whatever, or none at all. I didn't sand at all during mine and they turned out great.

Thats the look I am going for. So I should get the Krylon Acrylic Clear Coat but in a gloss not a satin??

If you want clearcoat shiny, get Gloss.

I don't wetsand between coats of tint, but have occasionally after the final coat of tint, depending on surface finish, dust, etc. Go easy with it, or you'll affect the final illuminated look.

Best practice is to wet sand between coats of clear, but that depends on you, the quality of the coverage, dust, bumps, turds, etc. The MOST IMPORTANT thing is to coat all 4 pieces evenly. Do each coat all at once on 4 pieces at a time. Hold them up to the light (sunlight) to get an idea of how even they are, and how dark they're getting as you apply tint coats.
