so i have a lake in the passenger half of the car, I've pulled out the seats and all that jazz...now for the carpet, can i just hang it from the ceiling rafters in the garage? it's soaked, but i have had towels soak up a good bit of the water.....any help appreciated

Hang it up and aim a fan at it to dry it faster. It will probably take a few days to dry depending on the temperatures.
