Year and Trim: 2005 bonneville GXP
Im a fairly new owner of a 2005 bonneville gxp has about 130k miles and runs great

well i noticed the cel light on and ran a scanner on it and got the system lean bank 1 and 2 but the car was driving great. went and got a can of brake cleaner to hopefully find a vacuum leak and was getting a big reaction from the bottom of the intake to throttlebody coupler or gasket whichever you prefer.... well i get the part which also comes with the intake gaskets as im sure everyone knows... first issue after removing the manifold waas replacing the gaskets which dont fit. and i did throughly clean the groove where the old ones were before attempting to install the new ones. they just barely dont fit. you can put them in but they wouldnt stay anywherem mclose to long enough to reinstall.. well only one evem appeared like it possibly could go bad so i replaced the only 2 that would fit and reused the old gaskets.... (probably not the smartest idea ive had but was running out of options)

ok so... this is the problem now... after reinstalling everything get in cycle the key a couple times to build up pressure in the fuel rail, try and start it and just cranks no start. try again same thing. smell gass and look under the hood to find fuel coming out of a couple of the injectors appears as though they werent seated properly.. well i attempt to secure them to what i assumed was enough jump back in the car and same problem including the fuel leak. my only issue with it being related to the injector leak is that it should dtill run even though leaking injetor// but ot wont turn over at all,....any help or ideas would be much appreciated

thin layer of rtv will hold the gasket securely for installation.

so, does the car crank, or it cranks but wont start?

welcome to the club!!

well i managed to get the no start fixed. however not it has a leak coming from the 2 injectors on the driver side back.

i pulled the fuel rail again and replaced the o rings on said injectors and it fixed the corner one but the other still has a small amount of fuel coming from the top of it. and by small i mean compared to before but its definetly significant and now showing code p0300 random multiple cylinder misfire. and honestly it sounds and felt great for the first couple minutes but then starts to sputter a little.... and just a guess but it appears i may not have contained the vacuum leak but need to get the leaky fuel fixed to be able to even check it

YES, o rings should be replaced - that should solve the miss.

Faulty ignition coils are the most common reason for a misfire on the Northstar.

As far as the injector o-rings, shop around:
Would have cost you $22 for AC Delco on Amazon: https://amazon.com/dp/B001NZX4SQ/
Would have cost you $16 for Felpro on Amazon: https://amazon.com/dp/B000C2CFE0/
