First post here, Just bought an 05 black/black GXP for $500. Has a 162k with some minor annoyances like drive side seat heater doesn't work, speedometer stepper motor is out and radio display non existent. Is also needing some front end work but for the price I couldn't pass it up. Hoping to learn somethings about theses cars from the forum and sharing some of my experiences with others.

Welcome to the forums.

Check out the thread at the top of the 2000-2005 section. It'll have many of the common issues explained and addressed.

Heated seat is a broken element underneath the leather somewhere. Not a bad fix, just a little bit time consuming. The stepper motors are common to fail on the 2004+ cars. Andrew over at Bonnevilles Unlimited can replace the cluster hardware for you if you don't want to do it yourself. Radio display just requires some soldering and a few specific bulbs.
