With the wide open rims on the GXP's, the rust on the rotors really shows through, especially the rears. Is there anything I can do to make this look better?

Thanks

You can replace the rotors......

or you can paint them with some light coats of high heat VHT high temp rust spray paint.

:bsnicker: Don't drive in the rain.

If you are talking about the shiny part that the pads rub on.....there's nothing you can do. Mine show a little rust every now and then. The cure is:

Keep driving it, it rubs off the first time you apply the brakes.

But other than that the only way to keep the rust off the hub area is to paint them as mentioned above.

Oxysolve rust cleaner from Eastwood.com
Leaves them with a zinc coating after a 15 minute soaking to prevent rust.
I've never tried the stuff but seen it used on a classic car show once.

Yes, I'm talking about the rust on the hub part. Sorry. Thanks for the info.

Just use the Dupli Color Brake Coating, or if you're worried about heat, then the Hi Heat in black, so it disappears, and matches your black car. Just my $.02
