Well was wondering the best way to remove the windshield wiper arm from the car, have removed the 13 mm nut
And used the removal tool, and they do not budge, i fear of breaking something, was hoping to refinish them. Any suggestios? Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

I have actually had really good luck with taking a small hammer and hitting the stud with a bit of force one time and it's enough to jar it loose. Have done it on several different cars.

I've removed hundreds of these, just grab the wiper end of the arm and push down and pull up several times, it will pop right off.

^^That. It's just pressed on to the little ribbing of the wiper drive.

Hey thanks guy for all the good advice... they did pop right off, i removed mine to refinish them too,
nos4blood70 it wasn't too bad to remove... i also cleaned the colwing and cover, the cover on mine was turning white in spots, so i put some conditioner on it and it returned back to black, i am a little bit of a clean freak so most of the time was spent on that... one question... would it be a good idea to run a bead of body sealer along the welds, just to insure no leaks? Is that the best option? I imagine i have a leak, considering the history on our cars, Thursday I leave Indianapolis to relocate Tampa, and will be taking the Bonneville with me, our first trip of that length. Good bye winters in Indianapolis! Lol

I hate winters as much as anyone anymore, but I'm not so sure I want to be swimming in my attic or have my house blown away like popsicle sticks.

Lane. That's a good point, I have never experienced a hurricane before, but see it in my future. Lol
Just hoping my first one isn't " worst of the century! "

*shoot*, you had it easy in Indy over winters. I think I'll still take MN winters over hurricanes and all that *shoot*.
