Year and Trim: 2005 GXP

This is on a 2004 Bonneville GXP

I was changing the output shaft speed sensor yesterday and digging around up in around where it plugs in and I I found this cable with a plug end not plugged into anything. Does anybody know what it is?

Looks like an aftermarket block heater plug to me.
