So any issue i have with my car i google and the first results (and most helpful) are from here. But my latest issue wasnt exactly on here so im asking my first question to see if anyone has any idea and/or a solution.

My temp gauge seems to get stuck anywhere from 1/4 to half when off. The first i noticed i just drove from one part of my college to another, about 5 minutes, and saw that my temp was in the red. This was after i drove to my first class, so as soon as i got to the parking lot i turned off the car and noticed temp needle didnt go back to the off position it stayed at little below the middle. So i turned it back on and it went right to the red again its like if it were offset. I thought it was because of the freezing temperatures. The car hasnt ever overheated it just appears that the needle doesnt reset and starts from were it freezes. The only thing that is cosistant with the issue is that its after a long drive (45+ minutes) and after i shut it off from the long ride.

Has this happened to anyone or anyone know whats the issue?

thank you
Parker

Bad stepper motor. I had mine replaced on all gauges for $100. If you have a soldering gun you can by the motors on Amazon or Ebay for like 10 bucks and take it apart yourself.
