I hit a pothole the size of a northstar. Now I have a transmission fluid leak. It's on the passenger side. Went to an auto shop and they said the leak was coming from where the motor and tranny join together (wtf). Took it to a tranny shop and they say it might be a tranny line (was replaced previously)
Is it possible that the axle seal needs replaced? I read somewhere that the ball joints are connected and can also leak on these cars. Buying 3qts of fluid a week is a PITA

Maybe you can jack up the car, clean the leaking fluid off from underneath the engine compartment, then add some more fluid to see where the leak is and take some pictures to post.

Will do again when I get off work. The leak has gotten a little heavier. I had the wheel off and the axle didn't look as wet as I would expect.

My bet is the quick fit connectors on the lines... They seep normally...

You'd have to really hit something hard, to make contact with anything up on the sub-frame that would cause a puncture or other impact that would cause leaking.
