Alright, this may seem like a silly question, but where can you find a battery replacement for an '04 GXP? Do retailers just not have them listed on their sites cuz every time I enter my vehicle, they all say no batteries are available, please make a different selection. Any help would be great, thanks.

These cars take a Series 74 vented battery, and it's under the backseat. Not sure what sites you're trying to find it on, but everyone carries them.

I bought mine at the GM dealer. I think it was about $140.
The new Delco's have a different vent tube setup because
they are a little smaller. I had to buy a new vent for $12.

I replaced mine before it ever died because I knew availability
was an issue and I didn't want that headache as well as having
the car stranded somewhere.

I was checking O'Reilly's, Napa Auto, Batteries Plus, Fleet Farm, and Sears and none of them had the correct battery listed.

Found out today that my battery might be going bad, went to turn on my car and it just sat there. I don't think its the alternator. As soon as we jumped it, it started right up. Thought I might have to pick one up at the dealer...
