Neither! The stock GXP has a Corsa exhaust system.

That's pretty cool, so Corsa exhaust is better the other two correct. Also where to get them new if needed.

I wouldn't go as far as to say that one is better than the other but if you want to change the tone of the exhaust, then those that you listed are some pretty good alternatives.

Wow you have 163,000 miles on that northstar motor, have you had any serious problems yet?

Nothing major engine wise; replaced the oil cooler lines, valve cover gaskets and one coil. Outside of that; I just had the trans rebuilt and I'm about to change the front motor mount for the third time.

Ummm, the stock GXP exhaust is made by Bosal, an OE supplier of exhaust pieces. It's the same company that made the exhaust on the SSEi's, and most other GM stuff.

Neither magnaflow nor flowmaster make exhausts for OE Manufacturers. They sell aftermarket parts for vehicles, but no car rolls off the assembly line with parts made by either company.

Your right Ed.

I don't know why I was thinking Corsa. :banghead:

Yes, the stock system is made by Bosal.

As for Corsa systems for Bonneville GXP, you will need Corsa Part number 14151 for Cadillac DTS. Count on shortening the main pipe just behind the cat, as well as the length of pipe where the exhaust tips attached. You also may have to bend the Y-pipe slightly to get everything to fit. And even then, your tips will stick out pretty far. I also had my muffler shop add an extra hanger to the Y-pipe for added stiffness so that the tips would not contact the bumper when they bounce around.

Position the hangers accordingly, and you will know where to cut/modify. Also, don't count on having a valid Corsa warranty after this  For me, the result was still totally worth it. It sounds fantastic and is loud (all mufflers are straight-through), and there is ZERO drone whatsoever on the highway or when cruising.

Yea buddy full-cat back that sounds great. Nice car and video dude. I think i m going to wait till i get some cash saved up and get the exhaust. But Ive been trying to decide on if i want the R1 concepts brake-rotor setup on eBay or go with hawks ceramic brakes and a nice drilled-slotted rotor.

Jerry your car sounds amazing!

And YoungGovna, definitely go with the Hawk Ceramic Pads, but get a slotted ONLY rotor. Trust me, they rock!

:withstupid:
Just did this on mine, amazing difference...No need for drilled rotors, slotted are just fine, and less of a risk of breaking the rotors as well. :btruestory:
