wondering if there is anyway to get a aftermarket radio to work with the steering wheel controls on a 2000 Bonneville. or if ther eis a after market radio that will interface with them..

Yes, you need a harness adapter. If you go through a place like crutchfield, they include stuff like that for free.

FREE? Hell no.

You need a PAC-SWI-X or similar to get them to work with an aftermarket deck. You'll also need a special adapter to get the door chimes and such to work with your aftermarket unit.

sonicelectronix.com is a good place to source the PAC-SWI-X. They will also give you a trim kit for free w/ purchase of a head unit and $12 off the $60 chimes interface. They are very fast with shipping and have good customer service as well.

Yeah, I got it through Crutchfield (the PACSWIX). The wheel controls are pretty cool with the iPod too, though the Seek button to change tracks is slower than with a CD, but whatever - it's still worth it.
