Hey all, I have a double din HU, and the metra harness with the chime add on. Obviously, this takes up tons of room, and I can't get my hu in. I've read that it's possible to cut out the plastic in back, but I have no idea what to cut and where to shove the wires. I'm assuming that I should use a dremel with the cutting tool, but would really like some confirmation. When I remove the plastic, will the car harness be hanging? Should I tape the car harness to the metra so it doesn't fall? Do I literally remove all of the back plastic? Any and all information will be appreciated! Thanks so much in advance!

Use a Dremel tool and cut out the entire back of the plastic housing, being careful not to damage the wire harness
