Hi guys I'm either blind or can't find it. I'm looking for the harness that contains the wire for the steering wheel control. I have a PAC audio swi-jack. Is the harness on the left of the steering wheel or the right? I'm sorry if this is a stupid question but I want to be sure before I tap into a wire and possibly break something!

Remove the left lower dash hush panel and you will see a harness running out of the steering column. There are 2 wires, purple and blue that run to the switches. Each switch has a different resistance between these 2 wires.

I have 2 connectors that are very similar next to each other. Which one would it be in. I cant tell where if the wires are coming from the wheel or not. One of them is loose sort of sitting on the plastic frame. The other is mounted.

if you get on your back and look at the 2 connectors, underneath the dash right by the steering column, one of the harness from one of them runs up into the steering column. Thats the one you want.
