I have a question about my stock head unit in my 1997 Firebird. It is a non monsoon system but on the back there is the traditional plug but there is also another smaller black plug. I already swapped my Sony DSX S100 head unit from the bonneville and it works beautiful in the Firebird but it is just an interest on what the second plug was for.

That makes sense because this is a CD Unit and my bonneville unit was a tape deck and it did not have the plug but it had the slot.
