hello,recently had engine light come on had it scanned and it was knock1 & knock2 sensor it read it was a possible electrical problem or a faulty sensor??i recently had the intakemanifold gasket replaced could this be related??one more thing is the cruise control ran through the vss??

I can almost guarantee the issues you are having with your odoMETER/speedoMETER and cruise control are caused by the problem I was having when I first got my Bonneville. I had no odo/speedo and no cruise. You need to test voltage to Ignition 1 fuse, if there is no power, then trace wiring and check for a relay that is not properly installed. This corrected my issue that was the same as yours - so I can only believe this is most likely the solution to your problem.

posting in every thread about these same issues, and it's rather confusing to have several of
your own posts concerning the topic, mixed in with other peoples.
