This is related to my KR thread, but is a mechanical problem worthy of its own thread:

At WOT my car surges in way that is best describe as a "popping", but there are no registered misfires. I think its a fueling issue. I changed the fuel filter this summer so what else could have gone bad? I'm thinking I should remove the injectors and soak them in gas as a way to clean them.

Thoughts? Where should I begin?

You have been playing with the PCM programming. Do you think there is a relationship?

I backtracked my tuning by a month and still have it.

Sometimes I got WOT and she's happy, but other times I get the symptoms I described above.

I'm thinking FPR, clogged injector(s), or failing fuel pump (no experience with maintenance on the fuel pump  ).

EDIT: I see a slight relationship between these "pops" and a slightly stagnant Injector Duty % at the same time.

The only time I have ever heard popping (no surging) is at the track running race fuel going WOT on the 1-2 shift at 6200 rpm :???:

I'm tossing the idea around of a failing fuel pump. It also wouldn't hurt for me to apply new dielectric grease to the coil posts and plugs.
