The hvac controls under the radio and information and trip set & information switch panel to the left of the steering column don't light up with the rest of the lights. All the switches work properly, but I can't see them at night! I guess it's most likely bulbs in both cases. Can they be changed or do I need new switch panels? Are they 12v btw?
When the tail light failed on my wifes Citroen I had to buy a complete tail light, after I replaced it I tried to get the old one apart to see if I could fix it, but couldn't take it apart without destroying it. I hope that's not the case with the Buick.

You can replace the backlight bulbs in the switches/panels but they are most likely soldered in. If you aren't up for it, ship them to me and I can do that.

Thanks for the offer, but shipping twice across the Atlantic would make it a long process.
I'll do it myself, hopefully. I have soldering eqipment, and all the time in the world to do it.
