My 1998 Park Avenue only blows hot air on the passenger side. I understand from previous enquiries it's probably the actuator at fault.
But I don't know how to get to it. I've looked under the dash and can see a plug fitting not connected to anything, but can't figure out where it might go. Is there a walk through on how to tackle this job, or does someone have a youtube link?
TIA

Roger.

Update. I finally got round to taking off the trim under the dash and having a proper look. After moving an ecu out of the way I could see the actuator. Three screws to undo and it came off. That's when I found where the disconnected plug went, it's completely hidden from view when the actuator is in place. However I tried moving the spigot the actuator attached to and it was very stiff, so after a few squirts of WD40 and moving it with a lightly attached pair of vise grips it was moving freely. The actuator turned too, tested by putting the temperature control from low to high settings. Put it all back together and I now have temperature controlled air to the passenger side. :)
All for no cost except my time, which is freely available now!

Roger.
