I bought a nice 2005 se with 100k miles
Battery goes dead overnight unless it’s disconnected
The only thing that doesn’t work is the aftermarket radio that I’ve unplugged
Factory harness is intact
I’ve looked over all wiring and don’t see any splices
I’ve pulled fuses and relays 1 by 1 with no changes
Unhooked alternator,2 different electronic boxes screwed behind rear seat in trunk,ignition switch, and pcm still no changes
I guess I’ll disconnect the starter then take out everything all at once from both fuseboxes
Everything works on this car as it should with no hiccups that I can find other than radio
Im fairly mechanically inclined but not a lot of electrical experience
I’ve read many posts on here and don’t see 1 quite like mine

You simply need to do a parasitic draw test. Hook your multimeter set to amps in line of the negative battery terminal. Close the latches on the rear doors while keeping the doors open (use a screwdriver). Wait for the electronics to sleep (usually a minute or two). Normal draw is 50 milliamps or less. If it's going dead overnight you probably have something like a 1-2amp draw. Start pulling fuses one by one, watching your meter. Anything with significant drop is your culprit. When you are putting fuses back in, some of them may "wake up" different modules and you'll need to wait for the current to stabilize before proceeding to the next fuse.

Anything aftermarket should be addressed first. For what it's worth, the last car I had with a draw ended up being the stock radio, pulling over 1 amp while off.

I’ve done that twice it’s around 36 amps constantly

You must be reading your meter wrong. It should be limited to 10 amps. 36amps is a HUGE load for nothing running.

You've removed every single fuse from both fuses boxes and it never dropped?

Bout to put it on lift and disconnect starter and trace down all grounds
Is there a ground position map somewhere

You're barking up the wrong tree with the grounds...



You could start by isolating which fuse box its coming from. Disconnect the battery cable going to the under-hood fuse box. That is where the starter would be getting its power from. If no change, disconnect the cable going to the rear fuse box.
