New alternator and two wire harness installed. Battery load tested at interstate good. Battery goes dead in two days now. Gauge still reading dead in car but is charging.

The wire on alt. thats supposed to be 12 volt is reading none. Probably was before, that new meter is funky and not impressed at all with it.

This parasitic draw has gotten worse. So took meter to it again and found fuse 30 under seat to be drawing, it has IP next to it . trying to find what it goes to. I'm guessing instrument panel .

Started car with out that fuse and none of the gages worked. so looks like I need a new cluster or find somewhere to send this one.

but did you still have the parasitic draw with that fuse pulled?

I was mistaken, that was the IGN. This car makes me crazy trying to figure this out. Yesterday the draw was at .34

Today it had huge draw .79 so started pulling fuses.
drop is amps going down
37 hvac batt .02 drop
29IGN .07 drop
25 has.02 drop
21 audio .45 drop
7drv mdl .02 drop
I then pull radio , cluster & light switch. Think light switch is broke now two pins dangle.
Radio was pulled last year and still killed battery, so think there is couple issues going on now.

Radio pulled has me at .34 amps now i go to under hood fuse box.
8 PCM batt drops when pulled then when back in it drops even more and is now at .05 amps

After waiting 8 hours car starts, battery didnt drop at all during this time. Shut off then after a few amp draw is back and jumping from .27-.69. I pull #8 pcm fuse again, put back in and it does just like before and drops off. so something on this circuit is not wanting to shut down. Thinking of hooking a relay to it to shut off this wire when ignition is off.

Car wouldn't crank over with fuse pulled.

This guy is a Guru when it comes to electrical troubleshooting, problem solving. I have probably watched everyone of his videos at least once if not more. he does use a oscilloscope (snapon-verus, picoauto, etc.) a lot, but for parasitic drain tests, they should all be able to be done with a Digital Multimeter (DMM). I have learned a ton on troubleshooting electrical/sensor/etc issues on vehicles from watching his videos. sometimes he is a bit longwinded, but it's usually because he over explains things. anyway, hope the videos help. if I can find some diagrams for your car I will see if I can trace fuse 8 and maybe the others you mentioned.

Happy to say it is finally fixed, with the help of Harofreak.

I changed the PCM as that's where the draw was at. Then it wouldn't relearn the security, so this told me that next thing is to try changing the pass-key three security module. Went ahead and got that and the ICM along with it. so with all three component's the draw is gone. Wait 3 days after driving it, and it starts up, all is well. Till go to take off and extreme forced shift taking off, like a launch. I blow it of as i might of been hammering it to hard but no it does it again in reverse, couple times later -first time out of park each time. Put the old PCM back in today, draw is still gone. Haven't gone very far as I don't like to drive this car in the snow. Hopefully I'm able to drive it some more before I put it up for the winter.

Also bought a unlocked radio off eBay, do to old one being locked after changing ICM. Plus my lights where bad on old radio anyway. it seams to be working as it should

Sorry been out of town on business, Glad you finally got it fixed....so most likely it was either the pass-key module or the ICM (or both)...Congrats again on getting it sorted out.
