Question.
Did the transmission on the 2001SSEI (4T65E HD) have the same problem is the 4T65E?
I am talking about the bad spline issue for the overdrive that was not heat treated properly.

To my knowledge this was not fixed until the 2004MY for both units. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong about that.

The units prior to 04MY will hold up to normal driving but if you beat on it; it's just not going to hold up to that
