hello,
i have a few things not working on my cluster odomotor,speedomotor and oil pressure stuck on 120,i brought car in for all proper test they ran the car with the computer show's speed on computer all pressure is fine,also the cruise control is not working is all this related to the cluster,i checked cruise fuse it is fine.any one help???

Not sure about the speedometer, but the OP being pegged is likely a bad Oil Pressure Sending Unit, which is very simple to change during an oil change.

Could be a loose or coroded connection on your cluster though. Do all the cluster lights work?

yeh all the light's are on ,the odomotor worked fine till friday when i had my intake manifold gasket replaced(lower),before i had this fixed the speedomotor would go nuts but the car is running like a champ now since i got the gasket changed,but now the speedomotor stays on zero and odomotor is not tracking miles.

The instrument cluster is a plug & play type deal.

It pushes into the dash and clips hold it in.

Does it look crooked at all?

looks even from the outside,if you put another cluster in will the computer put the cars miles on it or does that have to be programmed??

your odometer is digital? you can just swap the chip on the back from your old one and get the correct mileage

When I put in my new cluster, I didn't keep the chip in it, and mine only has 6,000 miles now.

What tool can fix that??

Obviously only the dealer can I am sure.

1. Remove black plastic from behind cluster

2. Remove mileage circuit board from cluster


3. Insert new mileage circuit board into cluster
4. Insert black plastic back onto cluster
