So I'm trying to be certain all my things are in order.
Recently replaced water pump and needed a new main/acc belt.
Got 900K6 from autozone. Matched the same size as the one that was previously on.
I can't for the life of me with tensioner all the way loosened get whatever pulley left on. Generally my alternator is what I place on first. The supercharger belt is on its snug. This main belt is nightmare.
This is the belt their system showed for mines. Should I be following this? engine/topic2652.html
I didn't see a spacer but. I may have overlooked I guess.

I think the 95-99 Series 2 3800s were different than the 2000+. I hate to ask the obvious question, but are you double certain it's the correct routing?

I am certain I'm following the right routing. Even pulled up other diagrams o line and in online PDF.

Just did this on my 04 PAU, it was admittedly a bit tough to get around the tensioner but when I was able to it sort of fell into place with the grooves. Make sure your following the correct pulleys and that you're not hung up at an angle on the main drive pulley at the bottom.

I found a helpful diagram here:

No worries got the belt on. The one I told them I needed but swore I didn't and they gave me the wrong one. Swearing their system said it fit, turns out their site disagrees. Got the right one it's on now. Just gotta figure out this last Bolt for the water pump now, it's blocked by a pulley.

For future reference the correct belt for the accessory drive is a 925 length, the supercharger belt is a 725.
