Have you tried swapping the ICM? A faulty ICM may only be problematic when hot.

I have not yet changed out the icm, but it was just changed 15000 miles ago too.So a couple of new things, the *fook* stupid *fook* didn’t tighten all the lower intake bolts either! So I snugged then down all good. Next thing I found is if I spray starting fluid right where the egr tube connnects below egr it almost kills the engine, I’m guessing that’s not normal?

Hopefully you read the below link beforehand. Given the history you've shared with us, all repair work the PO did needs to be checked.

I did read that, maybe not all word for word as I was just doing the upper, so do u think it’s possible since those bolts were loose in back on some the gaskets ruined? Or do u think the intake could be warped as that link says? I also did not clean the throttle body, but I can and will I obviously need to check that tube for cracks. It sounds like that can cause drive ability issues too.

Ordered that tube last night, so with that leaking , its A VACUUM LEAK RIGHT? I Know that isn't good, and would explain why my ltft are so high at idle. I noticed this morning that with car idling not even a minute of run time it was already up to the first mark on the gauge, that seems awful fast, but once warmed up it stays at 200 doesn't overheat etc, bad coolant temp sensor or what?

Changed that tube, did nothing as far as how it ran, So took the car up to my friends shop, we took it for a drive with a much better scanner n u could see 1,4 misfiring, came back n put a used ICM in that they have , car started up n I could tell it was better, stepped on the gas revved right up!! Took it for a drive , problem solved, so bought a new BWD from advance, everything else looks great, fuel trims , sensors , so it appears even tho this was replaced 16,000 miles ago it was junk already!! Who knows what brand but my guess some junk eBay bs P.O. bought!! Just wanted to update this thread Incase others are chasing what I just went thru! The cat was fine too.

I have had nothing but bad luck with ICM'S that were not OEM.
I had a Standard brand that lasted 3 months.
Then installed a Delphi one which lasted about 5 months.
Finally got an OEM from Andrew and knock on wood no problems.
The ICM'S you buy from any store or online are nothing but CHINESE JUNK!!!!!
I kept thinking the problem was something else because I just installed a new ICM.
The last time it happened my wife almost got in an accident.
She pulled out from a road and the car died.
She almost got broad sided.
NO MORE CHINESE JUNK FOR ME!!!!

I don't disagree with u! I also think heat is a big killer of these! I used dielectric grease under it, but will be using thermal paste to keep heat out of it.

Yes heat is a killer.
From what I have read the solder they use on these parts are junk.
When they get hot the solder seems to separate or open up.
Her car ran good when cold but when it got hot the problems started.
When the car cooled down it seemed to run fine.
I believe using dielectric grease under the ICM is a good idea.
The problem is that it is not going to solve the issue with the garbage solder that is used.
I am now collecting ICM'S and Coil Packs off of 3800 engines from the LKQ junk yards when they have their sale.
The sale price is 40% off.
Wish you luck on your new ICM but if problem comes up again and it probably will go with an OEM unit.
I just have no faith in any electrical part coming from China.
