I was checking on the post here to build a smoke machine but don't have a compressor. You think I could rig something like air pump to it for low psi?

But still I don't really prefer the red hot element in the can. You think there's any chance of igniting those gas vapors if the psi is too low? Check valve/or filter or something possible for the gas vapors?

Real smoke machines use nitrogen to pressurize the fuel system, and eliminate the possibility of explosion. No way would I induce air. I understand wanting to do things yourself, but paying someone to do this the right way with the correct equipment could be the best decision you ever make
