While doing some work on my ac, I disconnected my battery, took the bottom part of the dash off (the black plastic peice above the pedals) and unplgged anything connected to said peice of plastic. Ive temporarily fixed my ac, but I went to start the var and the coolant temp gauge has not only gone all the way to the "H" but past it all the way back around to the peg under the "C". How can I fix this?

Nops, staying in the same place. The coolant temp on the digital screen reads the temp correctly

ok, then I would assume the servo for gauge is funky - did you check the wiring for servo?

also, check the plug for colant temp sender - maybe you left it unplugged

I ended up just using the "magnet trick" and it took 2 min and worked perfectly
