So the line for my windshield washer fluid has deteriorated and snapped about a half inch from the grommet on the firewall or what ever that big plastic is(contains the cabin filter) so now instead of my windshield it sprays on the rear side of my motor :) any suggestions?

A similar thing happened to me on my daily -- the plastic nipple for the washer line stayed in the rubber hose after breaking so I used a small pick to remove it. Used a bit of plastic epoxy to re-attach (held it in place with a a couple sewing needles while it dried). Once dry I used a very small drill bit to make sure the passage was clear -- then just reattached the rubber line and I was all good.

With the drilling part; just be careful not to drill too far and create a new place for washer fluid to escape. For me this was up on top of the cowl so I didn't have any obstructions so not sure how clearance would be for you

Messed mine up when replacing the alternator, reconnected the fitting with some vacuum line.

yes, you can replace the broken parts with vacuum line - if its a clean break -I used contact cement to hold the line together - worked nicely
