My brother in-law wants to buy a 2001SSEI with a bad motor.(has a rod knock)
He has a standard 3800 engine he wants to put it in and change that motor over to a super charge one.(will take parts off bad motor)
Is this possible?
We figure we can do it if there are no other major obstacles.

Depending on what parts are bad, you can top swap the L36 by basically changing over everything from the heads up on the L67. You will need a special tune for the PCM, since the L36 has a higher compression ratio.

Year and Trim: 2004 GXP - plus a handful of other Bonnevilles

We're in the midwest, you can probably find a running SC 3800 for cheaper than the gaskets it will cost you to convert the N/A. Just find the right engine.
