Hi Guys,
Can someone pleaae tell me if the HVAC control module from a 2000-2004 will also be correct for a 2005?
I notice that many people selling them on Ebay list them as fitting 2000-2004, not 2005. To me it looks like the same part fitment wise.
Please let me know here or email me directly at wayneadam@ptd.net
Thanks in advance, Wayne

It'll be the same part, but the 2004 and newer ones got black buttons and switchgear.

Is there anything wrong with yours in particular that you are replacing it?

Hi Carl,
Well, we haven't had dependable heat in a few years. Sometimes it works and blows hot, sometimes cold. I have replaced the under dash actuators, replaced the heater core which was bad a few years ago, and everything is flowing properly. So, it's the last thing it could be. We also hear a clicking if we turn the heater knob all the way cool or all the way hot, it will keep clicking. We used to get heat about 50% of the time, but now heat is rarely coming through.
This is our 2005 Bonneville SE with 247,000 miles on it. Other than that the car is great.
Let me know what you think. Thanks, Wayne

Gotcha. Could be worth a shot to replace it. If you want better parts/service than eBay, check out Bonnevilles Unlimited. It is run by one of forum members here and he specializes in parts for the 2000+ Bonneville.
