I moved the new plugs and wires around bought new coil moved coils around when I did the motor swap I put new crank and cam sensors in. I started the car with the plug out and get a nice blue spark on the plug put it in and run the car When I pull the plug it's wet with fuel

so if there is no bang in chamber, and you have spark,I would say the mixed charge is so rich( too much fuel) that no amount of spark will ignite cause you need 14:1 for bang. 14 parts air to 1 fuel that is.

I would unplug that injector and see what happens - check wiring

You think the injector isn't atomizing and just stream

DONT KNOW BUT I think that is a good place to start - is the injector new? - it could be bad - there may also be an issue with pulse time( set by pcm) you said its used - is it tested good?

Not sure how to test pulse without a computer the injector isn't new I have a old set of injectors i was swapping all of them have do the same thing. But that doesn't explain all the air in the coolant. I had same problem with last motor with all the air and code 303 I thought it was a head gasket so I swaped motors new motor has 56k on it and was running good for a week

ok, if you had this bubble/air issue with both engines, maybe you are not bleeding the system properly.

I would swap #3 injector with a working good one - was the new/ used PCM you put in a tested good unit?

Is it possible that the injector wiring is on the wrong injector, causing it to spray fuel and fire the spark plug at the wrong time, wetting the plug? You'd suspect that you'd have the same problem on the swapped cylinder as well though....but might be worth a look. I make sure to mark my harness with colored zip ties to prevent accidentally swapping places.

So I did a few checked injectors wireing it was correct also took I injector rail off flipped upside down and cranked car over injectors all spraying good. Removed valve cover and watched rockers they look to be moving the same as the rest didn't see it hanging up. Pulled lim gasket looked good. I ordered a cylinder leak down test kit to test for bad head gasket.

When bleeding car I have on level ground fill till it comes out brass bleeder then close and run car until thermostat opens and heater on high

I'm thinking with the 3.4 pulley on maybe I popped the head gasket? I haven't really done anything to exhaust other than eliminating the converter do you think it's to much pressure without headers?

head gasket issues are very uncommon for gm 3.8/3800. if it was the gasket, I'm thinking the cylinder next to #3 would be not working well. when you idle with rad cap off , do you see bubbles in the rad neck? large pockets of air at intervals?

Ya bubbles never really stop I'm going to swap back to the original pcm and see if it makes a difference with mis fire. Not really sure if it's 2 problems I'm chasing or same for both issues

I also ran a spark testes between plug and wire and had continuous spark

So just pulled valve cover and ran the engine all the lifters seam to be pumping up the same just over filling the rocker arm cavity or should they be squirting oil out of the engine compartment some of the older engines iv worked on were squirters. Not sure what these should be doing but all pumping oil up

The best way to bleed the system is the rev the engine to about 2500rpm and then let off, open the bleeder, rinse and repeat until no more bubbles come out. This helps purge any air out of the heater core as it is higher than the engine.

Changed the icm and pulled the wiring harness out for cam and crank sensors and inspected all looked good but still have the miss fire on #3

I tasted it and it's fuel and already swapped plugs and wires around and put a spark tester in line with plug wire and ran car and getting continuous spark

IT SEEMS YOU MISSED SOMETHING - thats why your diagnosis must be done systematically and not spotty.

please go through all the steps here and you will be closer to finding the solution - dont say you already done that - DO IT AGAIN
